 Door opens out and sits perfectly against wall.

The important thing is where the pivot point is.  Normally "Parliament Hinges" are the automatic choice.
Here I measured carefully and used good quality 4"x4" (100mmx100mm) ball bearing hinges.

The normal size if an external door would be 4"x3" (height x width) this was fitted 10 years ago and has been the perfect solution...
